Yep, we're having it yet again in 2026!

THE ORIGINAL TINY HOUSE SCENE CAMPOUT WORKSHOP IS BACK!!! Free Camp Sites too!

TINY HOUSE SUMMER CAMP THIRTEEN!!!

SEPTEMBER 12th-13th 2026

WE ALL HELPED BUILD THIS LAST TIME...

(You can also arrive to hang, set-up and build on FRIDAY the 11th)- so, if able, it's a THREE DAY WORKSHOP IN REALITY.

...and you're welcome to camp out until Monday too (as we know some of you travel from far away). If you miss Friday, we'll get you caught up- don't worry! AGAIN, ITS A TWO DAY WORKSHOP (SAT AND SUNDAY), BUT YOU ARE WELCOME TO SHOW UP AND HANG, BUILD, SET-UP CAMP ON FRIDAY.

If you sign up we might also have an option afterwards for an additional day sign ups (an add-on MONDAY to make it a four day event)- stay an extra night, experience more building, head out to pizza with the whole crew, and more.

Hosted by Deek and Dustin Diedricksen (hosts of HGTV's "Tiny House Builders")

Learn Tiny House Building with US!  (and a TON more!!!!)

Not just watching, not a mere slideshow, YOU will be cutting, sawing hammering, and CREATING!!

We'll all be building, actually BUILDING together! Touring cabins, Live Demos, Guest Speakers, and more!

FRIDAY is the early arrival and set-up day- with SOME demos planned, but if you can't make it until Saturday that is OK! We'll get you up to speed.

LEARN BY DOING!

-Forget thinking you'll know how to build a tiny house after attending a festival

-Online courses aren't gonna cut it- sure, they can help a little, but its far from hands-on learning

-And a hotel ballroom talk-only class will fall short in the same way.

Those style courses all have their time and place, but learning by actually doing, while working with other professionals, alongside other students- all while networking and having an AWESOME time, is the way to go!

Trust us.

TOUR a tiny house made with over 90% reused materials and salvage (above)

Much more by way of host/guest announcements will be coming up! We usually have 4-6 hosts on site to help you and instruct via demos.

We touch on tree house building too, as you'll see four of them on the premises where we camp/teach.

COST- the 2/3 day workshop- fully hands-on, with a slew of instructors is $460.00.

PLEASE- PLEASE- PLEASE do the adult-thing and make sure you can attend this and don't have any conflicts before you sign up as this is non-refundable. We WILL give you credit to another workshop though (if you can't make it/have to cancel). We don't even have to do that (most workshops won't) but we will.

By signing up, you agree to this. So PLEASE quadruple check that you can make this before you sign up. There are no refunds- its too much of hassle to refill your spots if you bow out later on.

You are also welcome to camp-out on our land to save money (FREE), or you can stay in a local motel on your own in the Barton/Orleans, VT area. Simply google that region for motel and cabin rentals to see your options.

Any questions- [email protected]

Things covered- Framing, tool use, efficiency in design/materials (IMPORTANT with the high cost of materials these days!), roofing, alternative building techniques (pros and cons), what NOT to do in your tiny house design (that alone will save you time, headache, and heartache), tiny house layouts, TOUR tiny builds on site, demos on shingling, Japanese techniques, window installation and repair, and then some...

It'll be fun- ALWAYS is. And all off grid in beautiful Vermont.

SPACE IS LIMITED! SO don't snooze on this.

Elegant, simple and effective
Color: Walnut Wood
Nothing negative to say about this holder. Does what it should while not taking up much space. The wood grain looks great. Definitely recommended.

I mounted it with a drawer pull
Color: Walnut Wood, Color: Walnut Wood
Functionality: 5 , Design : 5 , Price: 3 I was looking for a way to store my headphones and not clutter my desk. I also wanted to make sure the padding doesn’t get deformed by hanging them on a hook. This wall mounted option met all my requirements, even though I feel it’s a bit pricey for just a small piece of wood and metal. It’s nicely finished and the shape will minimize leaving a dent in the padding of the headphones. I was worried that the color wouldn’t match my desk but luckily it was very close. Based on other reviews I didn’t trust the adhesive. Instead of drilling a hole into my desk I thought I would try attaching it with one of the drawer pulls. The hole of the wall hanger was just a millimeter too small for the screw of the drawer pull, but a quick mod with my power drill and it fits perfectly. I’m glad I didn’t drill into my desk, and if the position ends up inconvenient I can easily swap it to a different drawer. I would highly recommend this product.

Good design, but inconsistent photos. I think I got a dull-colored sample.
Color: Walnut Wood
Good, but seeing a lot of inconsistent user photos. Some have extra racks or a little knob for cables. Some mount with the bracket pointing downward (you can reverse it if you want) and with two screws. Also, the block I got is a dull poopy brown instead of the bright & vibrant brown on the photos of the product page & box. Understandable, I suppose-- given the nature of wood. Plastic/metal would certainly be more consistent, but I wanted this to match my black & wood aesthetic of my office. Luck of the draw on the shade of brown that I got, I guess. As nice as this hanger looks and as convenient as it is, the dull color is enough to make me want to just leave my headphones in the desk drawer when not in use. A drawer protects the headphones from dust as well. I don't live at my PC, so having them stowed away when not in use makes more sense for me. I didn't really think this though and got a lemon of a color. Likely a return.

Great for center weight headphones
Color: Walnut Wood
Easy to install for the wall, hang headphones well. Make sure your headphones are center weighted as otherwise they can slide easily
